Vietnam-based contractor Deoca Group has broken ground on the Ngoc Hoi bridge project and the expansion of Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh expressway.
The Ngoc Hoi bridge aims to connect Thanh Tri district (Hanoi) with Van Giang district (Hung Yen province), strengthening regional linkages and fostering socio-economic development in southern Hanoi and neighbouring provinces.
The project is scheduled for implementation from 2025 to 2028, said Deoca in its announcement. The main bridge across the Red River will be about 680-m long and over 32-m wide, designed for six motor vehicle lanes and two mixed-use lanes.
The bridge’s approach roads will extend over 6.5 km, added Deoca. This will bring the total project length to 7.5 km, including 5.2 km in Hanoi and 2.3 km in Hung Yen.
The consortium of Deoca Group and eight other companies is the contractor for Package 07/TP3-EPC, which covers the design, material and equipment supply, and construction (including surveying and BIM application) for Component Project 3.

In Dong Nai province, a groundbreaking ceremony was also held for the expansion of Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh expressway. Deoca Consortium is the contractor for Package XL01, covering construction from Km4+00 to Km13+900, with an expected duration of 18 months.
The project is planned to operate in sync with the new Long Thanh International Airport, shared Deoca. It will meet the growing transport demands, reduce travel time and costs, and better serve residents and tourists. The expansion of the expressway spans approximately 22 km across Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.
