Technology company DESKO launches a new generation of its ID verification solution ID Analyze. The new ID Analyze is a full authentication system for automated data capture and checks of international ID cards, passports and driver´s licenses. The authentication package consists of an ID scanner and DESKO´s own verification software. ID Analyze simplifies identity verification workflows and enables the complete authentication of international ID documents.
Based on longstanding expertise and a new approach
The new development is not only based on 30 years of expertise in developing ID verification solutions but on DESKO´s own Neuronic Document Authentication method: a smart, modular and adaptive approach that ensures thorough and accurate verification.
ID Analyze is designed as a package solution consisting of a verification software in combination with an ID scanner. Both components are perfectly synchronized to complement each other, therefore no compatibility problems arise.
Intuitive handling and multilingual design
The solution is available as a Plug & Play version with an intuitive and multilingual interface, which was developed according to the latest UX/UI findings. Customers who use their own IT infrastructure benefit from the intelligent ID Analyze SDK, which is characterized by an optimized and fast integration workflow.
The combination of software and the renowned DESKO Scan Technology includes several hardware-based features for both data capture and authentication. The presented documents can be scanned under three different light sources to detect advanced security features like UV patterns or microprinting. This allows for a deep authentication of ID documents. Within seconds, all read results are clearly displayed in the user interface with abnormalities being highlighted for further evaluation. If needed, the results can be saved in a report for further processing.

With its modular structure DESKO ID Analyze adapts to a wide range of requirements and can handle all levels of identity and document authentication. The user chooses the level of authentication he or she needs and can adapt the features of the application accordingly. This makes ID Analyze an innovative and flexible solution with validations for even complex verification use cases, e.g. within the context of KYC applications in the banking sector, streamlining workflows for identity verification without any compromise on quality.
What is Neuronic Document Authentication?
Neuronic Document Authentication describes the unique DESKO method for checking and analyzing international ID documents.
The special feature of this method is the flexible and adaptive networking of hardware and software modules, which - supplemented by DESKO’s knowledge from 30 years of document verification and market experience - achieve an extraordinarily high level of verification results. Example: The manipulation of chips in ICAO-compliant biometric passports can be detected 100%.
Put simply, our method involves a workflow that represents a network of individual functional components. These components include, for example, data capture with our hardware (image capture, biometric data, etc.), clear user guidance (placing the document, turning the document, etc.) and image analysis. The latter uses machine learning principles such as artificial neural networks.
This software architecture can be adapted to customer requirements. The advantage for customers is in the provision of the complete workflow, which can be integrated but no longer needs to be implemented by the customer. The provided workflow includes the control of the hardware (DESKO ID scanner), user interaction and the analysis of the captured data (images, text, biometric data).
